When a pet needs medical care, most people will do whatever it takes to provide proper treatment.  However there are many cases in Laramie County, Wyoming where a pet's owner would love to authorize the treatment but just can't afford the cost involved.  Whether the owner is a senior citizen on a fixed income or someone who has fallen on hard times, we want to help.

"Due to the generosity of Monty's owners, Monty's Helping Paw has helped dozens of families pay for veterinary care they would never have been able to afford.  It is a true blessing for many pets and has put smiles and tears of joy on many faces!" Dr. Robert Farr, Cheyenne Pet Clinic

WHAT IS MONTY'S HELPING PAW?

Steve and Dolores Baker founded Monty's Helping Paw in 1999.  Their first West Highland White Terrier, Monty, died after a long and costly illness.  They were lucky enough to be able to afford these costs, and decided to establish a not-for-profit charity to help other less fortunate pet owners in Monty's memory.

HOW DOES MONTY'S HELPING PAW WORK?

Grants are given to participating Laramie County veterinarians to help defray the costs of treatment.

Over the past 9 years, Monty's Helping Paw has helped over 200 pets with medical treatment that they desperately needed but their owners were unable to afford.

HOW YOU CAN HELP?

In order to help all the animals that are a special part of someone's family we need your help.  100% of your donation will be used to pay for medical treatment and may be tax deductible. Your donation is used to fund the grants given to veterinarians so they can help those pets and owners in need.

The veterinarians involved work with Monty's Helping Paw to ensure our funds go to help as many animals in need as possible.
